Norquay Ski Area
This is the closest mountain to Banff Town site.  It is the smallest of the 3 areas but re known for a steep often bumpy section for experts and a lots of room and slopes for the beginner.

Sunshine Village
Sunshine is known for having the best snow of the 3 areas with varied terrain for all levels. The gondola takes you from the parking lot to the village area where the shops, hotel and restaurants service the area.  This area is usually first to open and last to close.

Lake Louise
Lake Louise is considered the "skiers mountain" with excellent terrain off the backside of the summit and great fall line on most runs.  It has a wide variety of terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders and vistas you will remember for a lifetime!!

Canmore Nordic Center
This world class facility was built for the 1988 Olympic Games and has hosted local & world class events ever since. This amazing facility offers excellent groomed trails for all levels, day lodge, lockers, showers, rentals, waxing & more.

Spray River Trail
This trail begins behind the Banff Springs Hotel and can be skied to Canmore (12K each way) or to the bridge (6K) making it as long or short as you like. The terrain is varied with some up, down and flat. Good for all levels skiing & snowshoe.

Cascade Trails, Lake Minnewonka
A short drive from Banff Town site to the 3 lakes just outside town. This groomed trail has some uphill to start but it flattens out and makes a fun downhill return.
