"The Orange Chipotle Shrimp was a stunning blend of sweet and tangy. Like nothing I've ever tasted before. It made me want to sop up the sauce with the gorgeous blue corn bread. The meal was excellent, from the appetizer to the skillfully cooked, succulent Pork Loin Chop".

"One of the highlights of our trips to Banff! Can't come here without having at least one meal here. Excellent food every time!"

"Superb, innovative food in a relaxed atmosphere. We went back several times in the week we were in Banff. We ordered different things each time, excellent food every time! Who would have thought that "Southwest-style" food in Canada would be so amazingly delicious! "
"The dishes are always spectacular. When the plate is placed in front of you you can't help but be wowed, and then you take a bite and be even more impressed. Tastes, textures, and colours are amazingly well put together, and I can't say I've had anything but a fabulous meal here yet, and we frequent quite often - it's well worth the drive from Calgary."
"Best Steak Ever! This place was a hidden treasure. On our vacation I was trying to get my boyfriend to try this place and it didn't sound appealing to him. Thanks to the Hotel clerk for the recommendations, it was on the list. Needles to say. We were here 3 days and ate there 3 times. But I can't complain. I tried something different every day. Of course he had to stick w/the steak that was recommended. He said it was the best steak he had ever had. He has definitely had some steak! It melted in your mouth. The place is very small, very quaint. We had to buy the corn bread mix to bring home w/us. I have already made some and yes it still taste great. They told me the secret in making it. so I kept the recipe and hope to buy more mix. Of course we bought T Shirts the last time in. It will definitely be a stop if ever get close to area again. I wish we had one in our area."

"Coyote's is now our dining destination in Banff. Enjoyable, entertaining, delicious and clean are the reasons we return to Coyote's on a regular basis. The staff and chefs create a dining experience with plenty of variety. We find the ambiance consistently friendly, a great place for either a romantic dinner or an evening with our family. It is definitely part of our Banff evening out."
"I'd visit Banff again just to eat at Coyote's Small and comfortable cafe. Great food! I was there two years ago and I still can not find a vegie burger that even comes close! The rest of the food was great too! It's a great getaway from the tourist crowded streets!"
"Best restaurant in Banff hands down. I lived in Banff, AB for at least 9months and Coyotes is the place that struck me the most. If it's not too too busy the chefs and servers are willing to have a chat. The chef's special was almost always a worth a try. Mmm memories of the orange chipotle prawns come back. Breakfast and lunch is equally as delicious. I never found a bad apple in Coyotes...except sometimes the sushi rolls don't have that much salmon. The pizza's are worth a shot as well. "
"A hidden treasure. We were so happy with the food that we had lunch and dinner there. The people are friendly and the prices reasonable."
"Banff's best meal. We live in Calgary, and visit Banff almost monthly. We've eaten at a lot of places, and Coyote's wins our "favourite" prize. The food is Southwest influenced (American southwest, that is), as is the decor. It is fresh, and the quality impeccable.
We've tried a broad variety of meals at Coyote's, and LOVE the chicken corn tortilla soup. Outstanding. They'll bring you a basket of bread: don't bother with the foccacia; focus on the blue corn bread. Wow.
We often share the chorizo pizza and get a couple of Cesear salads if we're not in the mood for a full entree. The steaks and fish are both excellent. We often request to sit at the six-seat counter, which faces the open-concept kitchen. It's a great place to watch Coyote's very talented chefs work their magic. If you have room, the deserts are amazing. The prices are moderate by Canadian standards. You'll definitely need a reservation most days. Make the call."
"Best Breakfast in Banff. The menu is interesting and innovative. However, our meals were excellent at each of the three breakfast visits. The servers are young and friendly. On one visit it appeared the restaurant was understaffed and the servers were rushed but on other visits, the service was good. The menu is unique and a refreshing change from the typical greasy meat and eggs breakfast offerings in Banff."

"Great Dinning Experience in Banff. Coyotes Southwestern Grill is a small restaurant, so you may want to call ahead for a reservation, especially during the peak summer season. What the restaurant may lack in size, it more than makes up for in quality. I had the special of the night, which was baked salmon over orzo with grilled asparagus. My wife had a Mediterranean pasta dish. Both meals were absolutely excellent - prepared to perfection. Coyotes is a half block off of Banff Ave. where a lot of the larger restaurants are located, but is definitely worth looking up. It's still in the heart of the downtown area and very easy to get to. I highly recommend passing up some of the bigger names in town to get to this facility. Coyotes also features breakfast and lunch, however, we did not have an opportunity to return for another meal."

"Incredible breakfast! This is my favourite place for breakfast in Banff. Apparently I am not the only one who likes it, as there is a pretty much always a line up on weekends.
I think it is the attention to ingredients that sets them apart, like free range eggs and Valbella Meats bacon. Yet, their prices are still very low for the volume and quality you get. On my last trip there, I had the "Mountain Man" breakfast, which was 2 eggs any style, hashbrowns, back bacon (or choice of ham or chorizio) and 2 large wildberry pancakes. It was way more than I could eat for $10.50, but I am no mountain man. I think next time I will try the wildberry & cream cheese stuffed french toast. A friend ordered this and it was as big as a loaf of bread! The breakfast burrito looked very tasty too."
